Koibuchi Bookcase by Qeeboo

The Koibuchi Bookcase by Qeeboo is a sculptural, eye-catching piece of furniture that blurs the line between function and art. Designed by Stefano Giovannoni in  2023, it takes inspiration from marine life, with its name “Koibuchi” referencing the open mouth of a koi fish. The bookcase features an organic, flowing silhouette with a series of rounded compartments that mimic the fluidity of underwater shapes.

Crafted from rotational-moulded polyethylene, the Koibuchi is durable, lightweight, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its quirky, irregular openings serve as compartments for books, objects, or décor, making it as playful as it is practical. Available in a variety of bold colors, the piece can stand out as a statement item or be integrated into a more eclectic interior.
