The Ocean Chair by Mater is a sustainable and stylish seating solution that merges innovative design with eco-conscious craftsmanship. Originally designed in 1955 by the renowned duo Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel, this chair has been reimagined with modern sustainability in mind.
Crafted from recycled ocean plastic—primarily discarded fishing nets—the Ocean Chair embodies a commitment to reducing marine waste while delivering a sleek, lightweight, and durable design. Its slatted seat and backrest provide ergonomic comfort, while its powder-coated steel frame ensures stability and weather resistance, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.
