The Story

Designed in 1954 by Pierre Paulin, Artifort reintroduced the Moulin side chair and armchair in 2013. This chair was previously part of the offering of Thonet in France but is now under the Artifort umbrella that includes an array of Pierre Paulin's most popular furniture designs.

Artifort refers to the Moulin as "an old fashioned chair", and in a way, it is. It was originally conceived by Pierre Paulin in 1954 on the Rue Jean Moulin. It is a simple and modest, clean and strikingly modern classic.

The Moulin makes a great dining chair or chair for a work table.
