The Story

Luftballons, the upholstered furniture collection by Valter Cagna from Gebrüder Thonet Vienna design department, is characterized by soft lines and sinuous curves, inspired by the contours of a balloon, as its name suggests. Comprised of a small sofa and a lounge chair, the family of seats is distinguished by the large volumes of cushions, carefully balanced in size and proportions. The solid frame made of steam-curved beechwood, an element of continuity with Gebrüder Thonet Vienna’s legacy, supports the upholstered seat and ensures great comfort.

With just a few components and a strong and playful character, Luftballons decorates the room and adds a touch of playfulness and personality to the space, making it also an ideal solution in the hospitality sector.
